About me
Welcome!
This website is a space to showcase my journey as a graduate clinical mental health counseling student. It’s a glimpse into the work I do and the values that guide me. My hope is that as you explore, you’ll find something that resonates or sparks a connection.
I chose counseling because it is a meaningful way to weave connection and advocacy into my life’s work. Through counseling, I aim to meet people where they are while supporting them on their path to growth and balance. As I’ve grown, so has my passion for empowering others to live a life that feels whole and authentic. This includes themes of decolonizing therapy that I have resonated with a year into my graduate program.
Explore my website to learn more about me and the beginning stages of my evolvement as a clinical mental health counselor!

Land Acknowledgement
A land acknowledgement is a formal statement that honors and respects Indigenous Peoples as the original caretakers of the land and recognizes their enduring connection to their traditional territories. It serves as an expression of gratitude and appreciation to those whose lands we now inhabit, and as a tribute to the Indigenous communities who have lived and worked on this land for generations.
Understanding the history that has brought us to reside on these lands is essential, as is reflecting on our role within that ongoing story. Acknowledging the land is not confined to the past; it highlights the reality that colonialism is an ongoing process and invites us to be mindful of our present actions and their impact.
In honor and respect for the lands upon which we gather, I want to honor and recognize the ancestral lands on which I live, learn, and work—the unceded lands of the Tonkawa, Coahuiltecan, Carrizo Comecrudo, Lipan Apache, and other Indigenous Peoples. These communities have stewarded and cared for this land for centuries, long before it was colonized. I recognize the ongoing impact of colonization and displacement on Indigenous communities and express gratitude for their enduring presence, wisdom, and resilience. May this acknowledgment serve as a reminder of our shared responsibility to honor, respect, and support Indigenous sovereignty and the healing of these ancestral lands.
